Edited American Motorcycle Dealer on a freelance basis, while also acting as the staff writer on sister title International Dealer News.

I joined Dealer World as a Feature Writer on American Motorcycle Dealer (An internationally distributed magazine for US motorcycle dealers and custom bike builders) and was quickly promoted to the position of Associate Editor. This was then followed by a move on up to Editor. In this role, I plan the content of each issue of the magazine, commission.

Responsible for sourcing North American bicycle brands featuring niche products. Additionally, wrote all content for Sorted Cycles website and marketing material.

After joining as a freelance sub editor, I was quickly promoted to feature writer producing general motoring copy, features, interviews and news stories. Additionally, I rewrote to house style road tests bought in from a third party supplier. The material produced was output to analogue, digital and online broadcast platforms using various CMS packages.

Originally this high profile media agency predominantly concentrated on the car market. Given complete control, I introduced a 'two-wheeled' section covering motorbikes and scooters. Starting from scratch and on a limited timescale and budget, I developed relationships with all major manufacturers and distributors to ensure a continuous input of new.

Utilising my technical knowledge and extensive experience of riding different types of bikes, I was offered this key position testing and reviewing not only new bikes but also components and upgrades. In a busy role with strict time restrictions, I orchestrated each review including delivery of the product and arranging a photographer if necessary in.
