Operations Manager
Current- Responsible for all Nightclub operations - Responsible for the hiring and training of all staff- Ensures safety, security and comfort of over 4 000 patrons weekly- Manages 70+ staff: security, bar, back of house and assistant managers- Manages over $100,000 worth of inventory and equipment- Manages and performs weekly orders- Collaborates and strategizes with brand representatives and vendors- Responsible for creating training programs and employee manuals- Developed systems for documentation of security reports and investigations- Responds effectively and rapidly in high stress situations and fast paced environments- First responder for medical emergencies- Corresponds directly with Halifax Regional Police, RCMP and Alcohol and Gaming Commission, among other government bodies- Reports to the Vice President of Operations
