I book concerts at what I think is the best small music venue in LA (the world??). I am the original Talent Buyer at the Moroccan Lounge. In this role, I oversaw the creation and implementation of all aspects of the music program for Resident, a brand new LA venue and in-house concert promoter, from its opening in December 2015 through its first 16 months. My responsibilities included: • Booking the calendar, negotiating artists' fees and other performance terms with shows every night of the week• Maintaining correspondence with artists, agents, managers, labels, publicists, co-promoters, and other members of events teams to advance promotion and production• Defining all venue operations procedures and hiring / training the staff to apply them (ie. box office, production, security, artist relations, etc.)• Creating and meeting budgets for artist fees, marketing, and production costs based on returns from ticket / bar sales• Working with Marketing Director to set up infrastructure for promoting events through print ads, outdoor marketing, online / social media, etc.• Consulting with ownership on best practices for bar operations in an environment with a high degree of variance between audience types and sizes from event to event

Temporary on-site box office / customer support for Desert Trip and Camp Flog Gnaw Festivals in 2016.

• Oversee box office operations for The Echo, Echoplex, The Regent Theater, First Unitarian Church, Echo Park Rising and Way Over Yonder festivals, as well as various one-off events.• Hire, train, manage, schedule all box office staff.• Manage all ticket allocations: holds, buys, fanclub presales, VIP packages, kills, comps. Manage house guest list & promos.• Interface w/ agencies, labels, publicists, publishers, promoters, media partners to make sure ticket needs are met.• Oversee all artist/house settlements. Personally settled appx 500 shows, and prepare/audit settlements for all others.• Develop/implement ticketing processes for new venues/fests: The Regent Theater, Santa Monica Pier (4x 5,000 cap festivals), First Unitarian Church, Echo Park Rising (200+ bands my final year)• House manager for appx 200 events at Echo and Echoplex overseeing all production, security, bar, and box office staff.• Attend 2x weekly marketing meetings to create marketing plans for 700+ events / year.• Hire, train, manage street team & on-site marketing staff• Help with select events to design and write copy for social media campaigns, facebook ads, weekly newsletter, print ads, etc.• Help Managing Partner, Talent Buyer, and Director of Ops w/ special projects• Managing relationships w/ vendors and clients.
