I have taken a lead role in the design of bespoke seafastening and grillage arrangements for large Lay equipment.I have designed and analysed various frames for offshore use, including Outriggers and storage frames, and have a broad knowledge of seafastening of general project items to a large variety of vessels.Past design work for installation has included Friction Clamps & link plates for Caisson Installation, Pulling heads for Flexible systems including API & Compact flanges, Abandonment & Recovery Heads for Rigid Pipes, Suction Piles for flexible pipe-lay initiation as well as piggyback clamps for pipe-lay and general use.I am involved in the lift analysis of Heavy structures (manifolds, SSIV’s etc) for UKBU projects including analysing the hydrodynamic properties and creating solutions for increased installation parameters. A full time summer industry placement through the IAESTE student placement programme; working for Ghana Nuts Ltd which is one of Ghana’s largest producers of both Soya Oil and Shea Butter.Worked for the production manager producing a maintenance programme for plant machinery. The maintenance programme covered all machinery from the preparation stage through to the extraction and refining processes.

Returned to RBG Ltd upon their request to complete a second industry placement. This placement was on-site at SGL Carbon in Muir of Ord.Stand in Engineer overseeing and assisting with the construction of industrial ovens for carbon fibre production. Work included regulation of contract variations, site document control and daily communication with contractors & sub-contractors.
