As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information, I'm responsible for the activities related to Information Technology (IT) in vsource, involving the definition, development, maintenance and operation of systems, as well as for maintaining the area’s technological level up to date, conducting studies and implementing new procedures and techniques to meet future business and system requirements.- Running regular checks on network and data security.- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.- Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, best practice guides for the organisation, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards and service provision.- Designing training programs and workshops for staff.- Conducting regular system audits.- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.- Providing direction for IT team members.- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.- Advising IT strategy to BOD, General Director to achieve business and management objectives.- Keeping current with the latest technologies and determine new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.Identifying and coordinating resolution of IT operations, problems, issues and incidents.- Builds positive relationships with Managers of Departments to support, consult and understand business organisational structure.- Designing and implementing Service Level Agreement to adhere to ISO 27001 (ISMS), ISO 9001 (QMS).- Managing IT Department budget, expenditure and purchasing.- Managing and evaluating vendors, suppliers. IT assets.
