- Researched and drafted a key argument for a brief in opposition to defendant debtor’s summary judgment motion by asserting that the defendant’s debt was non-dischargeable under a heightened fiduciary duty owed to client- Analyzed multiple licensing agreements identifying discrepancies for use by corporate partner in advising client of risks and potential exposure posed by proposed transaction- Researched California strict products liability law as it pertains to client’s allegedly defective product and drafted letter setting forth client’s position in response to insurer’s threat of a subrogation action- Researched federal securities laws as applied to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and advised a corporate partner regarding potential implications for a prospective Initial Coin Offering
