As a teaching associate, I acquired the skills of transferring theoretical knowledge to practical application in real conditions. My engagement was mainly related to subjects where higher programming languages are studied. In parallel with my work, I enrolled in my master's studies where my main interest was focused on artificial intelligence (AI) systems. During that period, I gained knowledge about the functioning of manifold algorithms and tools used in the field of machine learning, data processing and analysis.I used my Python experience to create a tool which automates generation of PowerPoint reports. The tool is a web-like application and is intended for internal use in the company. I used Streamlit framework because the tool is a part of the big data system and there is a need for compatible integration with other libraries (pandas, numpy, matplolib, sklearn, tensorflow, etc.) that are used for analyses, visualization and ML modeling. The tool has optimized workflow, so it can work in parallel mode, which increases the speed and maximizes use of the server hardware resource. It’s a modular solution which can be easily integrated with another web framework. From this work, I learned how to use new frameworks to develop applications from the very first stage. Apart from the importance of my technical development, I have also acquired communication skills in order to more effectively communicate the needs and requirements of the application cross departmentally.My main goal is to step away from teaching and spend more time working on systems for ML processing, do data analysis and visualization as well as learn how to perform MLOps tasks.
