About Dawn Hunter
I once said trauma made me-- and I meant that in a good way. Then, one day, I realized it wasn't my trauma that made me, but rather, it was my response to that trauma that made me. I responded with forgiveness, empathy, and love. However, while I was able to love others so fully, I forgot to love myself. My healing journey was lengthy and I am always a work in progress. However, what I feel now to be the biggest, most iconic moment for me came when I was at Mayo clinic. I was being treated in an intensive clinic for chronic pain. I went to Mayo Seeking relief from physical pain, and found so much more. My brain started applying the cognitive reframing to all areas in my life and my trauma lens vanished. at that same time I'd found out my daughter was being bullied. she was just entering the prison I had just left....a prison of self hate. No baby girl, you can't! And so I started teaching her what we do to ourselves and our self-esteem. Soon her friends joined. Soon more became involved. And it became a place of hope and healing. And I knew then I needed to help people find their light, even if they were born into darkness. Business info coming soon-- NPO under construction

Our mission: Helping others develop, maintain, and protect self-esteem while also healing, nurturing, and protecting mother earth. We use CGT, music, nature, professional, and peer support in a cbt boot camp like structure. we offer multiple different circles for optimal personalization. For example, to help those with addictions we offer a sober circle that promotes sobriety and focuses on successes and forgiveness of self. This circle will overlap in basic structure but would be very different from participants in the two-feather pride circle or our first responder circle. Other than our bootcamp structure, our circle concept sets us apart. Our concept: we give you the tools and guidance to help you heal yourself. you're in a group setting so your insights, challenges, and victories matter and help others on their journey. As a final component- we have multiple environmental initiatives to give back to Earth. She provides us food, shelter, warer, and medicine. self healing+heal others+Heal earth. we are all connected
