I work with my E.I.T as a Civil Engineer II at the N.H. Department of Transportation in the Final Design section of the Highway Design Bureau. Once a project completes the public informational stage (30% complete) I see it all the way through until the project advertises and goes out for bids. I also help verify any design changes made in the construction phase. A lot of my time is spent doing design work that satisfies the desires of upper management as well as coordinating other DOT bureaus to receive input and to ensure all facets of a project are addressed.

I test concrete to make sure it meets company and customer standards. I also check the condition and cleanliness of the forms and make sure the forms built match the customers request for the building they desire
