2012 - 2016: SE Saskatchewan, Flat Lake Field: Light oilDirect duties included the presentation, regional mapping and approval of multiple tight carbonate reservoir drills in SE Saskatchewan, including the 10 longest horizontal drills in Saskatchewan. This also included calculating reserves for multiple formations using OOIP and Geo-Modeling.Through the continual analysis of new cores, and by assisting in the development and implementation of a waterflood pilot program we were able to discover and grow the development of the Torquay resource play from 0 bbls/d to more than 10,000 bbls/d in 4 years. This included personally drilling more than ~250 successful horizontal wells and working with engineers to optimize our completions to maximize production. The annual development budget and drilling forecasts exceeded $250M as the sole Geologist for my area.I worked directly in a team environment which resulted in a greater knowledge of all aspects of the oil and gas industry and helped in the optimization and efficiency of our developmental plays. Day to day duties included competitor evaluations (including multiple successful acquisitions), looking at and proposing land divestitures, expires, offset notices, seismic analysis, and using a multitude of geological software for the development of our areas and plays.

2006 – 2007: Wainwright field: Heavy oil and gas2007 – 2009: Lloydminster/Silverdale Fields: Heavy oil and gas2009 – 2012: SE Saskatchewan & Manitoba: Light oil-Experience with clastic, shales, coals and carbonate reservoirs-Regional mapping, modeling, seismic interpretation, log and cross section analysis-Re-completing and stimulating new and old zones in existing well bores -Carefully analyzed and tied in geological data and interpretations into existing well control and 2D and 3D seismic-Presented and approved a variety of 2D and 3D seismic shoots-Worked with enhancing existing waterflood programs and creating new programs -Studied/applied enhanced oil recovery techniques for depleted/heavy oil fields in my areas-Well frac experience in oil and gas wells, including a 70 stage frac.-Worked closely with geophysicist , reservoir and drilling engineers, to determine final drilling location, generating well prognosis, and determining the drilling risk assessment-Mentor for geology summer students (2009 & 2010)

I worked closely in a team environment with Engineers and Geophysicists to build an inventory of economically viable prospects. This also included regional mapping, deposition history analysis, seismic interpretation, and geo-modelling of the subsurface and offsetting well locations.Once the wells were approved to be drilled and in the annual budget, I would manage the drill operations and wellsite Geologists. This would include doing risk assessments of potential locations, well prognosis and picking/monitoring the well paths.
