My responsibilities as a consultant included:- Leading requirements gathering sessions with subject matter experts in the energy industry.- Implementing software solutions utilizing the Billing Component (BC) and Load Profiling and Settlement (LPS) components of Oracle Utilities v1.6.- Utilizing Oracle's proprietary scripting language (Rules Language) to extend out-of-the-box product functionality and fulfill project requirements. - Leading design and development efforts for Red Clay's Upgrade Accelerator: a Rules Language based tool designed to facilitate the migration of clients from Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM) v1.6 to the v2.1 framework.- Configuring the Oracle Utilities v1.6 Adapter to load metered data and initiate Rules Language based data validations and bill determinant calculations.- Writing detailed technical documentation in a clear and concise manner.- Unit and performance testing key software deliverables.- Organizing and leading client technical training workshops.
