Throughout my years at Upper Canada I've had the opportunity to perform several roles. Early in my career my role was primarily driving trucks delivering building materials throughout the Metro Vancouver area. I soon assumed responsibility for vehicle and equipment maintenance, and grew with this role as our fleet expanded rapidly. My responsibilities included maintenance planning and direct scheduling, on-site diagnostics and minor repairs, working with outside service vendors, maintaining insurance coverage, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal fleet requirements, driver training, and strategic asset planning. Eventually transitioning to fleet supervisor, my role now includes driver recruitment, hiring, development, and performance review as well as all previous responsibilities.
