I served as VP of Strategic Transformation, leading a team steering critical impact-driven initiatives, including strategy development and implementation, product innovation, technology strategy, and installing an enterprise PMO.

I served as VP, Strategy and Operations with BioIQ. BioIQ brings large-scale testing programs to employee and health plan populations to implement preventative screenings and improve health outcomes. I was blessed with the opportunity to play some small part in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic as we brought COVID-19 testing programs to employees at some of the largest companies in the world. With BioIQ I worked with the executive leadership team to set and evolve the organization's strategy to drive long-term success. I identified and drove key strategic and operational efforts that allowed the organization to execute our strategy and innovate to provide continued excellence for our customers. I helped set up, operationalize, and scale testing programs for strategic clients.

I founded New Light because I saw significant opportunities to improve the way we deliver mental healthcare to drive improved outcomes. I saw a number of broken conventions in an industry that was woefully underdelivering for its customers/patients.New Light is helping drive the shift from a disease and addiction paradigm to a trauma survivors paradigm, and from talk-therapy to body oriented and integrated whole-person health.Our mission is to help trauma survivors to once again see the world with beauty and trust; kindling their souls with New Light.As founder and servant at New Light, I strive to create a high-performing family oriented culture where therapists and employees can grow and thrive. I believe that attracting great people and aligning them around a meaningful mission is the key to success.

I founded Crimson Leaf with the mission to find, acquire, and then operate one purpose-driven clinically excellent healthcare program. With the support of a consortium of investors and mentors, I led all aspects of the fund, including fundraising, deal sourcing, deal evaluation, and diligence.

I spent five years helping boards, CEO's, and their executive teams answer critical strategic questions, develop and implement growth strategies, conceive and bring differentiated innovations to market, and transform their businesses. This experience transcended all sectors of the economy, though the largest portion of my time was spent in healthcare.My time in consulting was an accelerated learning journey which exposed me to a myriad of business challenges across functional areas and industries. Management rotation program with Deloitte’s Greenhouse where I helped design and facilitate critical conversations to help executives make their most important decisions in the face of uncertainty. As an innovation and exponentials lab leader I focused on situations where clients were facing change unlocked by exponential technologies and/or industry disruption. I helped clients accelerate transformation and decision making through designing and delivering greenhouse experiences.

Conceived and developed the business case for the National Hockey League and its franchises to increase their investment in youth hockey. This business case was the foundation for the NHL to create the "Industry Growth Fund" in the 2013 CBA, a $120M/year investment in grassroots hockey programs.

Led finance workstream on $150MM infrastructure outsourcing project;• Teamwork: Represented IT Finance in negotiations, reducing annual infrastructure costs by 20% ($30MM)• Analytics: Built and maintained financial model for deal• Implementation: Conceptualized and implemented controls for new vendor management organizationSelf-started Global IT Finance training program• Initiative: Conceived and created half-day finance workshop, now an on-boarding requirement for all new hires to IT organization• Communication: Presented to 150 participants in 4 domestic locations and 35 international offices

Bean Counting
