Overseen the management and opertion of six divisions: Chippewa Cree Construction Company, Public Works (Water, Sewer, and Solid Waste), Tribal Environmental Program, Tribal Water Compact Rights, Tribal Irrigation and Dam Safety and Emergency Management Services.Managed 50-75 employees (Full-time, part-time and seasonal) which included addressing grievances and recommending discipline, and enforced departmental standard operating procedures including Personnel Policies and Safety Rules & Regulations.Administered 30 program annual budgets ranging from $10,000 to $2,000,000. Prepared, approved and oversaw the management of division budgets which include reviewing, monitoring and approving expenditures and managing resolution of budget variances during the year.Coordinated and Facilitated construction projects from conception to Final Close-out. Projects budgets ranged from a $50,000 building to an $320,000,000 Water Treatment Plant and Intake Structure project.Worked with State & Federal Agencies on Compliance issues. Collaboration with Engineers and Architects on designing and procurement of construction projects. Communicated with Federal officials and Congressional Representatives concerning federal funding for projects, regulations and water rights and compact.

Rural And Tribal Environmental Solutions (RATES) is a small for-profit business founded to provide training and technical assistance to underserved populations and rural communities across the United States. We provided on-site water and wastewater training and technical assistance to rural communities and tribal organizations through capacity development.Overseen all phases of the start-up, operation and maintenance of newly constructed or renovated water treatment plants.Facilitate environmental education and training to Water & Wastewater Operators, City and Community officials and working alongside State and Federal agencies on improving environmental regulations.

Under the general direction of the Director of Public Works, supervised lower-level managers, technical and support services positions within four divisions. Managed 8 employees in maintenance and operations, including crews for Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Distribution Maintance, Residential & Business Solid Waste pick-up and disposal and Parks and Recreation maintenance. Interviewed, hired, motivated and evaluated staff personnel. Prepared budget estimates and analysis reports based on anticipated needs of the divisions; successfully balanced nine annual budgets. Point-of-contact for public, business and regulatory agencies to handle inquiries and complaints; ensured a high-level of satisfaction and immediate follow-through on all tasks
