With a career spanning two decades and two continents, Dustin brings a wealth of knowledge, insight and expertise in IP, Talent and Rights Management.Driven to create better solutions for his clients, he’s trusted by global brands and agencies, to support major campaigns by managing, buying and negotiating Rights more effectively on their behalf.In addition, Dustin’s experience means he’s adept at identifying and navigating the risks associated with Rights infringements, making sure his clients’ budgets and reputations are protected. What’s more, senior positions on both sides of the Atlantic have made him an authority on Rights management related to SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). Many major brands and hiring agencies rely on Dustin for guidance in this field and negotiate notoriously complex, SAG-AFTRA Rights agreements.And with an international perspective, he’s facilitated the unification of Rights operations between global divisions, fostering collaboration and enabling them to share assets more cost-effectively.Beginning his career in advertising in New York City, selling ad space to leading finance consumer and fashion brands, he gained valuable experience representing some of the world’s top publications and websites.Building on this international experience, Dustin transitioned from selling Media to Talent and Rights, Joining Talent Partners in 2012. A rapid rise to International Business Development Director saw him move his young family to London. Cultivating European relationships and a growing portfolio led to the opening of the first non-US headquarters for Talent Partners (later acquired by Extreme Reach).Recognising common, recurring Rights procurement problems that few were willing to tackle, Dustin chased his entrepreneurial dreams, founding DKG & Co in 2020 and later that year co-founded Talent Wire with Jeff Cobb.Under Dustin’s leadership, Talent Wire has grown and built a reputation for creative problem-solving and innovation in IP & Rights Management and supports some of the world’s biggest brands.
