Dustin is the Co-Founder/Head of Operations of Pathway Geriatrics and Co-Founder/President of Doma Health. He and his wife, Stephanie Johnson, started both groups in early 2021 with the long-term mission of creating a new style of care model for homebound older adults. At Pathway, Dustin manages the practice's strategy, business growth, and finances.Dustin waded into the world of healthcare from a very non-traditional background. Before Pathway Geriatrics, he was CEO and co-founder of Zapiary, a SAAS platform for helping businesses improve customer acquisition and client care.Before Zapiary, he served as Vice President of Technology at CBRE, a Fortune 250 commercial real estate company. He created and oversaw the Seattle-based technology division charged with developing several of the Company's internal sales platforms. Over four years, he grew his team from zero to more than thirty workers dedicated to building a world-class sales platform to support CBRE's $2+ billion annual deal volume.Before that, Dustin was a Senior Investment Analyst for CBRE's global CFO and CIO. He specialized in financial strategy, software modeling for mergers and acquisitions, and balance sheet management. He also:1) Acted as the senior analyst on CBRE's $1.2 billion acquisition of ING Bank's Real Estate Investment Management business in 20112) Created the CBRE's global balance sheet forecasting model3) Helped secure and refinance nearly $5 billion of capital during the financial crisis by issuing stocks, bonds, and traditional debt vehicles.Dustin has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
