Integrated 56 data links. Oversaw 15 Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) systems valued at $3B. Coordinated with ground and sea units to identify, track and report missile engagements for Europe. Collected detailed BMD agency situation reports; composed and forwarded mission readiness statuses to higher headquarters for situational awareness. Scheduled, assessed and participated in multi-service and multi-national air defense training events. -------Mar to Dec 2014NCOIC, Joint Interface Control CellLed 13 personnel in the fusion and management of over 51 tactical data links for 2 combatant commands. Identified, troubleshot and resolved data link issues that affected data flow & interoperability. Resolved connectivity issues to ensure an accurate and refined feed for the presentation of the Common Operational Picture (COP).

Oversaw 15 joint personnel. Managed 17 data link systems valued at $8.78M. Maintained 51 data link feeds with 105 combat units across two regions with a 99% uptime rate. Instituted on-the-spot solution for overheating equipment; arranged alternate operations site and averted $3M in resource losses.

Performed 62 link events; supported 8 training missions, 52 operators and job upgrades for 10 members. Lead Data Link Operator for training exercise. Troubleshot and resolved RF Link-16 connectivity issues (18 positional hours).

Led 11 personnel as U.S. aviation node to Japan. Sustained link to headquarters during intercept of non-friendly aircraft. Organized live missile fire test that integrated five regional units and validated missile defense capability for Japan. Developed, organized and coordinated ballistic missile defense exercises with bi-lateral partners from all branches of service.

Planned, initialized and maintained command and control data link systems and data feeds as directed by the Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) in support of USSTRATCOM's 24-hr Global Strike mission. Validated data quality and overall accuracy of global common operating picture for applicable Joint Force Component Commanders.

Directly reported to the Director of Operations for providing effective training and management of data link operations. Coordinated with adjacent agencies throughout Japan and the Pacific Region to exchange aerospace and maritime tactical data for defense of Japan.

Conducted academic and positional surveillance operations instruction to pipeline Surveillance Technician students from combat Air Control Squadrons. Performed role as Air Surveillance Technician to provide hands-on direction of surveillance and identification procedures. Assisted with courseware development and implementation of lesson plans and study aids.

Detected and monitored air and sea regions for aircraft emergencies and unusual flight activity. Reported degraded operations and information to North American Aerospace Defense Command or other sectors.
