-As a music instructor, I teach private lessons 6 days a week on Guitar, Bass, Piano / Keyboard, Ukelele and Vocals. Based on a performance-focused method, it’s complemented with the School of Rock app and books including additional resources with music theory and sight reading.- As a band director, I’m responsible for coordinating weekly band rehearsals of different music genres for both adults and younger students who perform a full setlist of near 20 songs twice per trimester on local venues. Each trimester I arrange and facilitate the music resources used throughout the season including the main teacher’s folders for the usage of the entire staff and students alike. I’m in charge of leading every rehearsal by participating in every song, demonstrating or teaching specific sections such as lyrics, singing or instrument sections / solos (Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Drums). Additionally, students are taught about performing live music including elements of proper gear usage, stage presence, and awareness of surroundings with other musicians as well as the audience.
