As an aspiring Supply Chain leader with experience managing medium-to-large teams, I have begun to develop a leadership style based on humility, transparency, listening, and trust. This development has occurred through diverse work experience, from customer-facing roles for a large Supermarket chain, to manual agency labouring. Throughout my time as a GE Aviation OMLP, I have demonstrated an ability to extract the best from those I work with. I have expanded my Supply Chain knowledge while delivered longstanding results in a range of functions including Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Operations.With a passion for Problem Solving, I use my current role as a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer as a springboard to a career in Lean Manufacturing. I demonstrate a commitment to Lean culture, delivering more time and cost-efficient manufacturing solutions. More recently, I have been responsible for delivering manufacturing solutions for an insourcing project where I have been able to put my Lean training into practice by designing a manufacturing line that promotes flow, pull, and reduces the impact of defects on deliver to our customers. This activity has also exposed me to design-for-manufacture (DFM), and the Production Readiness process.Having obtained a Green Belt in Lean Six-Sigma, my aim is to achieve Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt, and further develop advanced Problem Solving Skills.OMLP Roles:1.
