• Responsible for the oversight of Information Assurance (IA) and network administration support for the US Air Force (USAF) Command; manage two teams of network analysts and system administrators consisting of military and contractor personnel.• Serve as the Command’s Information Assurance Officer (IAO), Cyberspace Operations Section Chief and Exercise Planning Lead for the USAF and DoD Network; Oversee Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) Tactics Development Initiatives (TDI).• Assess USAF and US Northern Command IA posture in relation to DoD requirements (DIACAP); document and report assessment findings to commanders and network admins during assessments of DoD Information Systems.• Serve as the Command Security Officer; process E-Qip paperwork, security violations and JPAZ requests. • Worked with and submitted paperwork to the National Guard Bureau, US Air Force and Command to process individual’s initial investigations and periodic reinvestigations.• Conducted classification reviews on documents, policed working areas for physical security violations and ensured both were in accordance with DoD instructions.• Establish IA methodology for assessed units; identify the best techniques to penetrate units’ IA posture within the network defense system; evaluate the applicability of established methodology; and provide technical advice to users.• Developed Non-Technology Blue Team methodology; supervised intelligence gathering and dissemination; and performed development and testing of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).• Ensure user compliance with DoD network mandates and that computers on the network are within DISA STIGs; and monitor media access to SCIF.• Created yearly and monthly requirements base budgets.
