In 2009 Royal Dutch Shell outsourced the Canadian JDE Central Tools team (including EnterpriseOne CNC support and iSeries admin/hardware support) to T-Systems Canada. During this time my primary role transitioned to iSeries Admin/Support with CNC as a secondary responsibility. My major accomplishments include:• Managed iSeries environments for three major clients. Responsibilities included: o Monitoring the system for errors/warnings/exceptions. o Review of system logs and resolution of anomalies. o Troubleshooting user issues. o PTF (system) updates. o Weekend maintenance cycle. o Develop utilities/SQL to improve system reliability• Setup and maintenance of system applications including BRMS (backups), MPLUS (monitoring), Advanced JS (job scheduling), and DASD+ (disk management).• Technical Lead for the Shell Canada EnterpriseOne ERP decommissioning activity (saving $800,000+/year).• Analyst for Shell iSeries Migration project – led System Review activity across 8 LPARs and across multiple teams; streamlined operations by eliminating or simplifying hundreds of jobs/processes (eg. Reduced backup times by 50%, # of running jobs by 50%).

I joined the Shell Canada EnterpriseOne CNC team in 2004. In this role I supported the users, developers, and administrators of the most customized instance of EnterpriseOne in North America. The application was hosted on the iSeries platform against a DB2 database.• Operational Responsibilities o Support Thick Client, Web, WTS instances, > 20 environments. o Build and deploy code packages across three pathcodes (peak was 9 scheduled packages/week). o Complete developer requests (eg. table generation, index creation, web generation of object) o Issue investigation/resolution o Apply ESUs (software updates). o Develop utilities to simplify process or improve system reliability. • Coordination of the last Service Pack upgrade across the CNC, iSeries, and application teams.

I was responsible for supporting and enhancing Shell Canada’s electronic document management systems. When I joined the team there were three established applications - all developed using Visual Basic. I made minor changes to these systems in response to user requests or reported issues.Livelink was chosen as Shell’s new Content Management System. It was installed on a Unix platform against an Oracle database. My responsibilities included:• Technical lead for the installation and configuration of the Livelink application.• Administrator and Technical Support.• Designed User Admin GUI tool that improved upon the User Admin available in Livelink.• Designed, reviewed, tested, and implemented an “Image Library” custom module.• Project Manager and Technical Lead for the Livelink 9.1 Upgrade Project.• PL/SQL development
