Suncor East Tank Farm Development Project 2016-2017Rotational FIFO (fly in/fly out) site assignmentCoordinated 18 Construction Engineers, craft interface management (peak workforce 450), scheduled multiple disciplines and contractors. Day to day activities at the construction site also included materials management and client relationships. Suncor ETFD site to date has been 730 days lost time incident free and is currently 99% complete. ETFD had a dense, aggressive schedule, SIMOPs, and to date has met all critical milestones.

Suncor Fort Hills U&OGemini Module YardPonoka, AlbertaLump Sum project for 17 Alberta-sized modules at the Gemini Module Yard in Ponoka. Rotational assignment, responsible for schedule, cost, progress, change management, as well as coordination of engineering, material management, and transportation of modules to the plant site. Gemini module yard delivered all 17 modules on schedule with all work fronts completed before shipment of modules to plant site. Successfully achieved zero safety incidents.

Interface with engineering team daily with design, schedule, and project deliverables. Produced schedule and effort hours estimate for Detailed Engineering. Key contact for Client engagement and alignment throughout the project. Module Coordinator, Piping Design Area LeadChevron Kitimat LNG2013-2014The project comprised two liquefied natural gas trains (5.5 mtpa each), utilities, two 190,000cu.m LNG storage tanks, product loading facilities, material offloading facilities, marine installations, and infrastructure. Very Large Modules (VLMs) were planned for construction overseas with ocean transportation and coastal landing/installation.Early in project, served as an area piping design lead. Responsible for preparation of Front End documentation such as estimates, constructability and plot layout, and module planning. Travelled to Yokohama, Japan multiple times for project alignment with joint venture partner, JGC Corporation.Later as the module coordinator, integrated plot plan development, model reviews, and module development. Responsible for main interface between engineering, construction, and the module group on issues related to schedule, size, weight control, material handling, specifications and standards. Align disciplines with module design requirements, constructability, transportation and logistics.

Design Supervisor 2010-2013Responsible for the Planning, Scheduling and Engineering associated with multiple SAGD/CSS projects for two clients, CNRL and Athabasca. Projects value ~$300M. Responsible for multidiscipline home office engineering team and construction support for all projects in the Thermal Project Group. While in this role, became an integral part of the construction supervision/support and client interface, which led to repeat contracts and continuous work for Equinox. During this time, five projects were successfully completed for CNRL and two for Athabasca, all of which were on schedule and budget both in engineering and in construction.Supervised approximately 40 personnel in the piping group.Design Coordinator2008-2009Piping and Structural Lead for various modular Gas Processing/Liquids Facilities with multiple clients. This project was designed with 90% modularization with minimal welding during construction. Project was a success with negligible field rework.Encana Foster Creek2000-2005Encana projects at Foster Creek CPF (MOC work) and pads, Senlac CSS CPF and pads. These projects varied from small MOC work at the CPF's to new pad expansions. Supervised piping and structural design teams, as well as fabrication and construction support. One of our modular designs for pad expansion for the Senlac CPF won Encana's President Award for Creative Design.Husky Energy multiple projects2000-2003Small projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. Projects at Husky’s Pike’s Peak SAGD facility, Celtic CSS facility, and Hardisty Terminal. Management of change (MOC) work, to pad expansions, and two steam facilities Pike's Peak and Celtic. All projects involved design, construction, and operations.

Completed Fort Liard phase 1 facility and Musreau facility (remote, extreme temperature, heavy modularization). Also worked on numerous projects for their Kaybob South (K3) plant in the Edson, Alberta area. Natco Canada1997-1998Structural Lead for the design of the structural component for the BP Badami Project. Oil processing facility approx $250 million. Became the coordinator for the design department and the shop fabrication dealing with schedule, design issues, and fabrication issues. Multiprojects Group1996Structural designer, became lead during multiple small projects.
