 Developed, implemented, and managed comprehensive emergency management program through which personnel from Marine Corps Fire Department and Base Fire Department aboard Forward Operation Base (FOB) Al Asad, Iraq were cross-trained in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Marine Corps, and Navy requirements. Managed multiple operational elements concurrently, while conducting pre-deployment training of over 470 personnel with varying occupational specialties achieving 100% readiness. Developed a comprehensive emergency management training program that included but not limited to aircraft rescue and firefighting, structural firefighting, hazardous materials, technical rescue, and incident command training. Drew upon equally strong experience using emergency preparedness regulations, policies, precedents, and practices to conduct and lead studies investigating and evaluating emergency planning and response-related facts and trends; recommend appropriate action for correcting shortfalls and variations between actual resources availability and emergency response requirements; and brief management on total spectrum of contingency and emergency preparedness plans. Compiled and submitted 100+ training readiness documents to Marine Corps Training Program and prepared 30+ licensing documents.
