I advised clients on Litigation, Arbitration and Employment matters with a particular focus on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters in both state and federal court. In my practice, I wrote multiple appellate briefs to and appeared at oral argument before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (on appeal from bankruptcy court judgments), and Florida's Third District Court of Appeal. I also presented the oral argument and obtained an affirmance in an appeal to Florida's Third District Court of Appeal from a post-trial judgment that I second-chaired. The matters in which I advised included questions related to federal jurisdiction, ownership disputes, international torts under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA)& the Alien Tort Statute, insurance defense, class actions, employment law, and pro bono matters.
