Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Director. These Programs operate with the understanding that the Federal or State Contracting Authority and/or Executive Management has the right to modify their operating standards, to include staffing requirements and qualifications, as needed, to ensure quality and continuation of services. These changes may affect your qualifications for continued employment in this specific job category or classification. Provides individual and group counseling to facility residents/clients. Develops, coordinates, monitors, evaluates and documents individual program planning according to the specific needs of each client, to include relevant program goals, referrals, and individual, family, and group counseling strategies. Assists with on site visits to community and government agencies, correctional, medical, employment, and residential sites as needed. Maintains accurate and timely counseling records. Guides, monitors and documents relevant aspects of resident movement, behavior and progress to include but not limited to case notes, reviews, reports, formal and informal disciplinary procedures, urine testing, accountability checks; maintains record keeping in the FreshStart Client Management System; develops and submits resident release plans, home confinement plans and termination letters. Initiates and maintains cooperative and effective liaison activities with supervising authorities and other agencies, community groups, and professional associations.
