Partnering with the bank operations and compliance teams to carry out global KYC and AML Policies. Managing a large and growing team in the AML/KYC function. Overseeing and managing the day-to-day production of the AML/ KYC review of a top producing team. Working with senior management team to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of global team though improvements to respective functions as well as coordination and communication. Being a Subject Matter Expert for anti-money laundering regulations and ensuring they are aligned with internal policies and external regulations.

Ensures the bank complies with AML/KYC legislations for all applicable local jurisdictions and the Bank’s own internal AML policies. Perform due diligence on existing clients to ensure compliance with AML, US Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act and other compliance regulations and standards . Assist the various lines of business and ultimately the Bank to meet Global and Local Regulatory standards as well as implementing industry best practices. Review and access client profiles and supporting documentations for adherence to Corporate & Investment bank policy and regulatory mandates. Act as subject matter expert to provide guidance to the teams for continued alignment with the firms AML policies. Direct liaison to our internal clients to proactively prioritize our client adoptions and provide transparency to the business on the progress renewal and remediation.
