Responsibilities included layout, finished art, colour correction, prepress, quality control, digital asset management, print procurement and review of studio protocols with a view to increasing productivity.Print, press, websites, signage.

• Key roles were studio management of the annual calendar range (over 60 products each year) and all reprints. Was also responsible for prepress, quality control, digital asset management, technical support and training.
• Helped develop new methods for masking wildlife images including the simulation of realistic fur
• Reviewed studio protocols to improve overall efficiency
• Retrained editors to improve their productivity in InDesign
• Created a number of Applescripts to automate various aspects of the publishing workflow. These will save hundreds of hours of future work
• Helped set up the inhouse prepress department, managing the implementation of preflighting and colour management protocols

Key roles were finished art and production — that is, everything to take a concept through to a finished product including image correction and enhancement, copy editing, budgeting and invoicing, media scheduling and placement, quality control and project management. This mainly involved print and press but also included displays, signage and promotional.
