Wonderful Sales is the Sales & Merchandising organization for The Wonderful Company, a privately-held $4 billion corporation. Manage and service 200 major retail accounts in Calgary, Central and Southern Alberta.Charged with expanding the presence of all Wonderful iconic brands such as Wonderful Pistachios, Pom Wonderful juices, Wonderful Halos, Seedless Lemons & Fiji water.

Responsible for the daily sales and operations for the Western Canadian region.Identify, plan and execute strategies to increase sales, product awareness and improve customer service.Direct and monitor activities of District Inspectors to ensure the attainment of company goals and objectives.Conduct store visits and client reviews to determine the level of service our Inspectors provide.Perform routine Food Safety audits and report results to store management and head offices.Provided demonstrations and training to current and prospective clients in order to increase customer base.Develop and execute internal communication plans, policies and procedures.Recruit, hire and oversee the training and development of Inspectors.Perform employee performance appraisals.

Responsible for daily Produce / Bulk Food operations for the 105 Extra Foods stores in Western Canada.Provided leadership and direction to 8 District specialists and a category management team.Create and maintain merchandising and operating standards.Direct and continuously improve store operations to meet company objectives and operational excellence.Directed and supervised a sourcing and procurement team through weekly meetings to discuss market trends, product availability and costing issues. Participated in category development through vendor meetings to evaluate sales programs, launch new items and identify sales opportunities.Traveled extensively across Western Canada conducting store visits, audits, evaluating store conditions, team building, coaching and providing support to store management.Conducted monthly Profit and Loss meetings with District personnel to improve operations, drive sales, reduce costs and improve bottom line contribution.Full responsibility in administering sales promotions, merchandising, customer relations and maintenance of business processes.
