As a charter member of The Rotary Club of Ottawa Kanata Sunrise Dwight Brown conceived, created and nurtured Oktoberfest Ottawa from a fundraising dinner into a stand alone, not for profit volunteer driven organization and Eastern Ontario's premier heritage Bavarian festival. Oktoberfest Ottawa captures the spirit of Oktoberfest with a local Ottawa area twist by combining great local beer brewed specifically for the festival, local food vendors offering great Germanic and Canadian fare and local musical entertainment. It all comes together over 3 days at the beginning of Oktober to put the ‘Oompah’ into Ottawa's annual Oktoberfest celebrations! Oktoberfest Ottawa presented by The Businesses of Barrhaven will is held in the Myers Volkswagen Auto Haus at Clarke Fields Park in Barrhaven Ontario every fall.
