Space limits me to what I did for eighteen years at this Houston-based NASA contractor so I'll provide a brief summary. I began as a quality assurance inspector, looking at all incoming electronics, computer equipment, and space hardware destined for the Space Shuttle or International Space Station. Years later I became a logistics analyst for many years, handling inventory control within our Configuration Management System. I then moved on to the International Space Station program handling technical documentation as a book manager. I outlined all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and hardware to be performed during a specific time increment according to each crew rotation. I also began new processes and was awarded the prestigious Spaceflight Awareness Award, given to less than one-half of 1% of the overall space industry annually.
