You might say that digital transformation is in my DNA. With 25+ years of experience in the enterprise information management industry, I’ve seen companies spend millions of dollars and thousands of man-hours buying and deploying best-of-breed enterprise applications, such as ERP applications, to run various aspects of their business. Additionally, I've seen many of these companies spend nearly as much time developing and maintaining "home grown" applications to perform functions "unique" to their business. And along the way, many companies have acquired additional incompatible systems and applications from mergers and acquisitions. Unfortunately, many of these "investments" are inherently incompatible, and almost everything a business does involves more than one of them. One common thread I've seen across the board over the years is companies generate huge quantities of content generated by people and applications. In fact, organizations are very document-centric by nature as nearly 90 percent of all corporate information is contained in documents (digital and paper). Being able to manage physical documents plus a wide array of electronic information in an efficient manner is critical for companies today. However, too many organizations are still operating with the same physical paper mentality they’ve had for decades. I take great pride in helping organizations of any size, across all industries, navigate the “new world of work”—which now requires company information to be as mobile as its workforce. When I’m not helping organizations transition from predominantly document-centric to data-centric information and processes, I'm an outdoor enthusiast at heart and enjoy frequent rounds of golf, fishing, and competitive skeet and trap shooting. Specialties include; Business Process Automation; Business Process Management; Digital Business Processes; Digital Mailrooms; Digital Transformation; Document Management; Document Capture/Data Extraction; Enterprise Content Management; ECM; Enterprise Information Management; EIM; eSignatures; HR Technology; Human Resources Technology; Legal Technology; Product Development; SaaS.
