My career has centered around successfully governing and managing consumer- and commodity-centric manufacturing businesses. I currently serve on several Private Company, PE and non-profit Boards, and as a Peer Advisor at LHH’s International Center for Executive Options (ICEO), a global boutique practice serving CEO and C-Suite Executives in transition. My governance and management experience has been honed by over 30 years in the global food, durable and retail sectors. I have deep expertise in building, operating and governing branded, private brand and co-manufacturing businesses in public, private and PE spaces. Success in each of these spaces has come from driving value-added product growth in commodity-sensitive businesses, investing LEAN-driven savings to grow organically, and successfully acquiring and integrating the operations and cultures of companies large and small. I grew up in CPG marketing and customer management at P&G, Kraft and PepsiCo. Prior to joining Michael Foods in 2009, I served as EVP of Ahold USA, a $15B international grocery retailer; as President of the $2.5B Global Bath and Kitchen Products group at American Standard; and as President of Tropicana, a $1.8B juice business owned by PepsiCo.
