As the Lead and Healthy Homes Educator, I provide health education to the general public and health professionals and health care providers on lead exposure and blood lead testing in effort to reduce childhood lead exposure in Minnesota. I manage health educational materials and website content, facilitate meetings with internal and external partners and write quarterly newsletter.

I work closely with external partners and contracted community organizations to ensure that all API communities receive the support and resources they need. This also includes collaborating with external and internal partners and community leaders to increase access to COVID testing, vaccine and boosters. in addition to supporting API community engage,ent efforts and sharing of resources, I also took part in developing culturally appropriate messages and guidance, and assisted with translating COVID messages and materials in a Hmong.

I served as a domestic and sexual violence advocate by coordinating and implementing activities, programs and events that promoted positive health awareness, health education for victims of domestic and sexual violence.
