- Completed three 4 month Co-op terms with Weyerhaeuser OSB in Miramichi N.B. working as an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprentice. - After graduation moved to Peterborough Ont. where I work for 2 companies. - Hispano Suiza in board level electronics assembly and maintaining wave soldering equipment. - Odim Spectrum building electrical cabinets on a Project for Bruce Power. Building connectors, wiring switches, and relays for remote welding tooling. - Presently employed with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) as an Instrumentation Technician for over 15 years. Calibrating level, temperature, flow measuring instruments. Control valve repair and bench testing. Specialized in calibrating control system amplifiers and radiation monitoring equipment, Ion Chamber testing and commissioning. Completing Calibrations using detailed procedures. Trained in LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Arrest, First Aid with AED (Rescue 7), Ariel Platform, Arc Flash to name a few.Proficient in the use of various test equipment.
