If you're reading this, you're likely wanting to know a little bit about me and some of my experiences. Where do I start... My professional passion revolves around partnerships, innovation and creativity through business, especially within the tourism and event space. My current role at the South Australian Tourism Commission has me travelling across the state building tourism industry capability to help visitor economy businesses to develop, promote and sell world-class experiences. I've led the highest performing regional visitor economy in South Australia. Working directly with a Board of Directors and small team to see the Fleurieu Peninsula flourish with new marketing initiatives, industry first workshops and collaborations with industry associations and state and national government agencies.My passion for tourism development started when I was provided the opportunity to lead the experience and tour development, sales and partnerships for Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park. South Australia's largest tourism attractions, and had Zoos SA's trade sales increase by 33% YoY. I've also been a small business owner, with a side hustle linking my passion of surfing and events create to run the largest domestic bodyboarding tour in the world at the time and delivering business events such as the Australian Surf Industry Awards and Conferences across Australia.I am always looking forward and on front foot with innovation. I love that in the tourism industry that you are only limited by our own creativity, learning from latest data and research, whilst being considerate to my local community and the environment.
