Dylan Brown is the 2013 recipient of the much coveted Grand Clio Award for conceptualizing, creating and producing the Tupac Hologram for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg as part of their Coachella Valley Music Festival performance. He also received the Digital VIP Innovator’s Award from The Producer’s Guild of America in April 2013 and the Cannes Lions Titanium Award 2012 for his involvement in this project.Dylan directed and produced the feature film Mac and Devin go to High School starring Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa which was released by Anchor Bay Films on July 3rd 2012. The first week of sales marked the strongest release Anchor Bay has recorded in its company history for Urban sales. In 2006, Dylan received a Best Picture nomination by BET’s HIP HOP AWARDS committee, for directing and writing the urban cult classic Boss’n Up. Most recently Dylan completed production on BIRDS OF A FEATHER, an hour long musical comprised of 12 music videos wrapped in a narrative structure for Polish artist and female singer IZA LACH. A WGA member, Dylan penned a re-write of Coach Snoop for 20th Century Fox and he has experience scribing an array of projects for multiple platforms.Throughout his career, Dylan has worked with several music acts and recording labels including, Far East Movement, Virgin Records, Priority Records, Interscope Records and Atlantic Records. Dylan has directed and produced over twenty-five music videos for pop icon Snoop Dogg including “Young Wild and Free,” “Boom” & “Sweat”.
