As the Regional Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, I oversee all operations related to the Rocket League Championship Series in the region. Alongside the RLCS my role involves managing tournament licensing, supporting growth in the region, and assisting with best practices around all things Rocket League.Additionally, as a Tournament Management team for the global circuit, we come together and execute on Tournament Operations for the RLCS Majors and World Championship.

As a Player Manager I have taken on two roles within the department:The first is to manage all travel-related administration for players and staff of teams participating in the tournament. Additionally, I assist with VISA acquisition and consult with teams to ensure they are eligible and able to travel.The second involves Player Management at a live event level. This includes ensuring that all players and team staff are given guidance where necessary and also supported throughout their participation in the event.

ATK is a professional Esports organisation representing the best athletes across multiple titles. Established in 2017, the organisation has quickly become a leading figure in the South African gaming industry. Following the ATK CS:GO’s full roster pick up by the Esports juggernaut Cloud 9 in 2020, the organisation has emerged as a growing figure in the international Esports arena. Dedicated to bringing South African talent to the global stage, ATK continues to move players offshore to compete at the highest level of their respective titles. ATK currently fields teams across Apex Legends, CS:GO, Rainbow 6 Siege, League of Legends, Sim Racing and is home to an incredible Stream Squad.Additionally, ATK hosts tournaments and events at both the corporate and community level.My roles include planning, strategizing and execution of events and the marketing surrounding these events.Additionally, I am responsible for tournament structure design, social media strategy design, communication and tournament administration systems design, as well as working closely with our design and broadcast teams to create unique and professional Esports events.Outside of the general gaming community we have also focused on developing Esports in university spaces and other emerging markets.

As the Organised Play manager, I manage and work towards building thriving communities around various forms of tabletop gaming. The role incorporates event planning (such as tournaments and conventions), management, and execution as well as managing administration with respective suppliers. Designing and implementing new event archetypes to boost exposure of a product is also a core function of my role at Solarpop.
