With over ten years of experience in cyber defense operations, I am an Information System Security Manager in the United States Air Force, where I develop, implement and manage cybersecurity programs for various information systems and networks. I ensure the compliance with Air Force, Defense Information Systems Agency and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and countermeasures, to effectively monitor the security posture of the assigned IT systems and environments.Additionally, I am a KMI Operating Account Manager (KOAM) responsible for overseeing the management, operation, and security of the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) within the United States Air Force. My responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of cryptographic keys, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and providing training and technical support to personnel. I collaborate with various military units and cybersecurity teams to integrate key management practices into broader security efforts, conducts audits, and develops policies related to key management.I also have a background in nuclear command and control (C2), where I performed and directed nuclear and conventional C2 actions in support of emergency war orders and plans. I relayed C2 instructions for launch, execution, recall, evacuation, recovery, and reconstitution of forces, additionally managing the operational status of multiple cryptographic devices. I hold certifications in CompTIA Security+ CE, NC3/JNC2, and Emergency Action Specialist, and have expertise in COMSEC, RMF, and NIST frameworks.
