I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran of 6 years specializing in engineering and have deployed to Afghanistan in a combat role; to which I have extensive knowledge and experience in security and combat related scenarios. I served and lived in numerous US Embassies throughout the world such as Honduras, Nepal, and Switzerland. I had numerous duties while attached to these compounds like Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of Operations where I was in charge of security plans and procedures throughout the embassy and worked in conjunction with other heads of state on how the Marines would conduct training and maintain posture within the embassy. I understand the roles and importance of a team element and how critical small teams can be to the successes of those around them, for both the people and institution they work in. Currently I work as a Range Safety Officer (RSO) part-time while in school at the University of North Texas (UNT), where I am seeking a degree in economics.
