Liqvid is the developer of innovative digital signage platforms for businesses based out of Singapore, with over a 1000 b2b customers and broadcasting a diverse range of content on over 3,500 screens. My job responsibilities included server and database management, development of new server-side features, bug and incident fixes, along with integration with third-party APIs. Most of the development was done in Ruby on Rails, which communicated with PostgreSQL databases within a Docker virtual machine environment. I developed new features as well as important bug fixes that were quickly integrated into production. The position was remote, which allowed me to collaborate with coworkers located around several countries and in different time zones to mine during daily morning scrums.. I worked hand-in-hand with frontend developers, QA engineers and managers to create the best possible product.

Moscow, Russia

I was part of a 6-week internship program at the IT Risk Department of the Ernst & Young Moscow office. I was put in charge of developing their internal scheduling program, which managed the scheduling for the whole department. My job responsibilities included: development in C++ in the Qt Creator environment, restructuring the internal MySQL database, unit and system testing, bug fixes, and stress testing. We held daily meetings to discuss the current status of the project with my teammates and superiors.
