Exercise Physiologist
Current• Responsible for performing cardiac, pulmonary and physical examinations on patients – mainly first responders – to deem if the individual is fit and healthy enough to perform essential job-related duties.• Perform and evaluate baseline vitals, conduct pulmonary function testing, perform body composition analyses, assess overall musculoskeletal function, perform resting EKG, and graded exercise cardiac stress test.• Collect data and evaluate results from patient testing to determine if further action is needed such as lifestyle changes, specific individual prescription, and/or further follow up with another specific medical professional.• Be able to perform in emergency situations, with the ability to direct or administer potentially lifesaving treatment.
