At M2 Telecommunications,my role was 24/7 and I mainly provided proactive network support for Commander and People Telecom business customers. I also provided support and basic customer service to residential customers of other brands. All support was done over the phone, therefore, I had to be very patient and explain things in easy terms for customers.

My employment at The Friends’ School required me to provide day-to-day help desk support to students and staff. The focus of this computing environment was Apple Macs but I also managed Microsoft Windows machines for some of the staff. I helped configure, install and support personal computers in terms of hardware and software, and peripherals, in accordance with the school’s established standards, policies and procedures. I also balanced my work responsibilities with the training that I was required to do as part of my traineeship for my Certificate III and Certificate IV in Information Technology (General).

At Fone Zone, as a Sales Consultant, I sold mobile phones and accessorises, helping customers find the products and services that best suited their needs. I processed contracts, which involved quickly and accurately entering data into the system. I was trusted with the banking and counting the till and stock at the end of the working day when required. Within my position I worked as part of a team aiming to meet monthly store budgets as well as personal sales levels which enabled me to access personal bonus commissions. This required meeting deadlines both as a team and personally.
