During my time as camp counselor I was exposed to a variety of experiences, firstly I had a duty to lead and look after kids ages 7-16 and was responsible for there daily activities and the bunk dynamics. My main work day included the waterfront where I acted as a lifeguard and drove the wake boat on the lake teaching kids how to wake board and water ski, my main focus was keeping the kids safe requiring me to know CPR and the proper procedure when rescuing someone in distress.

During this job, I was an instructor for kids ages 4-14, teaching activities like kayaking, rock climbing, football, basketball, fishing and more. Teaching activities was new to me but it was a good experience learning how to properly communicate with younger children. The job was very rewarding I was able to teach new skills and watch them improve throughout the week.

This summer job required a lot of physical labor working in the hot summer sun. This job helped me understand how hard this job is and really helped me dig deep to show me what I was capable of getting done when working with a landscaping group.

During this job I had to talk to a lot of people, and required customer service skills, helping golfers with their golf bags and people asking questions. This helped me learn new social skills and proper ways to respond to people, this job aloud me to mold my social skills.
