During my Developing Professional Practice in Business module, I am working within a team for a client; who is a charity based in Brighton & Hove to gage an understanding on whether a proposed new Eco-building will be successful and financially sustainable.This has involved conducting secondary research in order to gain an understanding on the financial aspects of the charity sector as well as the competitors within the Brighton and Hove area to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Primary research involved producing a Qualtrics survey for the client to distribute to businesses that may potentially be interested in hiring the building. The analysis of the results allowed us to provide the client with recommendations on how they can attract new businesses to the building using the SOSTAC model.During this project, I was focusing on my part of the report and then the coronavirus pandemic stopped our groups weekly meetings to discuss what we’d achieved. We all needed to maintain contact as we were in different parts of the country. Therefore, we arranged to meet on Microsoft Teams every week to keep in contact and update each other on any work completed. We met every week during the pandemic and have managed to provide our client with a business report that meets the brief set out for us.
