I grew up in both Jacksonville, North Carolina and Jefferson City, Missouri. I am currently attending the University of Missouri so that I can obtain a bachelor's in biomedical engineering and go on to grad school for a master's in orthotics and prosthetics.I am a part of a military family, and my passion is to design prosthetics for wounded veterans. I wish to help men and women who have sacrificed their own bodies to protect our freedom (some of which I had the pleasure of meeting growing up) by giving them the means to overcome physical disabilities. I want to work alongside my future patients to design devices which are specialized to them and their needs.I am a devout Christian, and I believe God is calling me into the biomedical field. Not only that, but He has given me the necessary experiences to find passion and joy in the work He is calling me into so far:- My father's experience in the special forces gave me direct insight into the sacrifices of military service- My service in the worship ministry gave me an opportunity to become a Media Technology Intern- The internship equipped me with project execution and troubleshooting skills which have served me well in my engineering educationI am currently studying to the best of my ability, so that I am as equipped as possible when I move into the next season of my career.

  Served as Intern to the Media, Technology & Events Group Leader. Performed on-site IT troubleshooting and wiring/soldering tasks. Participated in event planning and execution (stage set design, set construction, and stage setup) both on- and off-site throughout Missouri. Mixed audio for all MBC Summer 2022 events and trained in advanced audio mixing techniques.
