I have worked with the Simmons School of Education and Human Development at SMU since January 2009, originally serving as a research associate in the Institute for Evidence-Based Education. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator at the Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE), I manage a number of research and evaluation projects in the areas of teaching and learning and human development, including the development of computer adaptive assessments, collective impact evaluation, program development and innovation, program feasibility and effectiveness, Item Response Theory, and concurrent and predictive validity projects. My primary focus is on leveraging reliable and valid information resources to inform decision-making so that students gain access to quality education and program services, and evaluating the processes and outcomes of these efforts.
