Enthusiastic Pre-med student who is dedicated to understanding human anatomy along with a core drive to help others. I understand the importance of balancing human compassion, detail orientation, and continuous knowledge application in my work. I am an incredibly quick learner and I relish the opportunity to work and learn at the same time. My education focused heavy on Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry and I have developed a passion for gene therapy during my studies. My time in an academic lab provided me the necessary experience to be prepared for the research industry.In lab I performed Mammalian cell culture with virus, I have done ELISA, Western Blot, Bradford reactions frequently, and I have had experience keeping lab notebooks and reporting my data to both colleagues in lab and to my supervisor. I additionally have experience with: PCR and Q-PCR, Protein Gel Electrophoresis, Microscopy, LabArchives, Aseptic Technique, Pymol, Argus Lab, Next Gen Sequencing. During my time at lab I had to balance multiple projects, coupled with maintaining very good grades in classes.
