I graduated from Penn State Berks with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2021. I have been interested in engineering since my freshman year in high school. I enrolled in the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) course Introduction to Engineering Design. I enjoyed the course so much I took all of the other PLTW courses that my high school offered at the time. I took Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering Design, Aerospace Engineering, and Civil Engineering and Architecture. Through these courses I became proficient in 3D and architectural modeling using Autodesk Inventor and Revit respectively. In Principles of Engineering Design, I built VEX robots and learned basic C+ coding. I also learned Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premier Pro in other classes. I enrolled at Penn State Berks in mechanical engineering after graduating from Ephrata High School in 2017. In college I learned 3D modeling and coding using Solidworks and MATLAB. I am most comfortable 3D modeling in InDesign and Solidworks but I am currently learning how to 3D model and run simulations using Ansys. I am best at coding using MATLAB and R Studio but I have also learned Arduino, LabView, and Mathematica. I am currently enjoying working with my capstone design team to design and manufacture an impact tester for academic research for Penn State Berks. Currently, I am The Director of Entertainment/Attractions at The Works at Wyomissing and I am looking for an engineering job. The Works is a large family entertainment facility located outside of Reading PA. I am in charge of nearly 100 employees at any given time while also assisting customers. I am often the only person in charge of several different departments at the same time. I manage the Works Restaurant, Arcade, Ball-o-city, Xtreme Air, Slick Willy's, and The Laser Mill. I help employees at the cash registers, count the drawers at the end of the night, and run financial reports. In addition to managing employees and cash I am also the inventory manager. I order new stock and ensure the inventory system is correct and up to date. I work with the owner to suggest better business practices in the departments I work in. When possible I enjoy fixing broken machines in the gameroom. Discovering what has caused the machine to fail and trying to fix it is very fun for me. When I am at home I enjoy playing video games, building military models, and using my 3D printer.
