Accepted into the University of Connecticut Student Managed Fund program where I have valuable hands-on experience in stock selection and portfolio management of over a million dollars. Attend weekly meetings to analyze portfolio performance and gain insight into interpreting ongoing macroeconomic trends, real-world valuation methods, company financial statements including 10K, 10Q and earnings call transcripts, and analyze a business holistically.

As a member of the Research Internship Program, I am given the opportunity to engage in research and other information gathering activities and work directly with a Portfolio Manager and Director of Research on their company analysis. Also prepare and present my research findings to the firm’s investment professionals as well as attend research and investment committee meetings.

Co-founding member of the UConn Investment Banking Society which is a student association concentrated in the development of aspiring investment banking professionals. Personally in charge of running group email & social media accounts to promote organization in addition to new member education. Works with senior leadership to learn and then teach members basics to 10K financial statement modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and macroeconomic trends currently impacting the markets. Created LinkedIn alumni group and communicate with investment bankers at various banks spanning from an array of different product and industry groups.
