I'm currently in my 4th year of being a Sales Director for Ahlers Building Maintenance — A Commercial Janitorial firm located in Lenexa that serves the Greater Kansas City Area. We are a small company in Lenexa, and my role entails all components of the sales cycle (projecting sales, prospecting, building a pipeline, and hitting goals set out by me and our team.) I do everything with the Point of Sale — This involves site visits, estimating, and drafting the contract after identifying a prospect. I help with operations after the sale where necessary and continue the relationship after the sale to hold accounts and use those to develop more relationships and potential sales. I graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelors degree in Marketing and a certificate in Professional Strategic Selling. I was fortunate enough through the sales program to land an internship with Ethos Group, who placed me at Don Hattan Chevrolet in Wichita, KS during the summer of my Junior year. I immediately produced and improved on a strong, competitive sales team that pushed me to polish every detail of the sales process, and enjoyed doing so — propelling me into my sales career. I’m looking forward to a future in Sales/Marketing for my career and new challenges.
